Welcome to Voice Thru Art!

We here at Voice Thru Art believe that those who have experienced a special journey have something to say. The main goal is to create a safe and non – biased atmosphere where Veterans can learn the skills of visual arts as a tool for passing on their journey to others.

Our plan, while simple, is not easy – we will try to reach as many Veterans as funds permit. We are a self-sufficient organization with no political, religious, or social affiliation. We welcome all veterans from any branch of the military and background.

The goal is to express in visual form an image important to each participant. A successful workshop will be where a participant comes away interested in the idea that art is a place to document life’s experiences regardless of skill level.

The work will serve as a window into the lives of those who are working through experiences the majority of society have not experienced.
